Duties and Responsibilities as a Freelance Animator

I researched into the main duties and responsibilites of being a freelance animator and found that some of the main points are:

- Conducting meetings with clients or employers to discuss requirements for the work.
-Developing and agreeing on a work schedule with your client or employer, to establish that the work will be  completed to strict deadlines.
-To set up and build models, depending on the type of work you are asked to do.
-Revise and refine animation, depending on the feedback of your client or employer.

Also as a freelance animator you will be expected to:
- provide valuable inputs according to the clients needs, at briefing meetings suggest reasonable changes or alterations that you think will benefit the work and the client or employer in the long run.
-Develop models based on the designs or concept work passed on to you from other artists. For the likes of a character animator you will be given the character and a rig for you too animate, also you will be given storyboards and lots of direction to help you understand the clients needs.
-Use design or 3D software according to the needs of the project.
-Work in a team of people and meet strict deadlines.
-As a freelancer you may also be asked to work on the designs and ideas of other professionals.
-As a freelance animator you handle the contracts, deal with clients and do the work.
